Verify First Technologies (VFT) announced that effective January 1, 2002 it introduced a new anti-copy safety paper available to certified security printers and end-users. The company requires that each sheet be protected with a recorded audit trail of; the customer, the paper usage, the paper location or locations, the security document identity and its expected life cycle.

All three levels incorporate an encrypted nano structure background which could be used for court enforceable applications.
